Friends of St John’s

The church is generously supported by the ‘Friends of St John’s’, which raises money for the upkeep and general repairs of the fabric of the buildings. The churches is greatly helped by this work.

Through events such as concerts and other entertainments (perhaps a Safari Supper or a Murder Mystery Evening) and the ever-popular sideshows at the annual Churt Fete, not only are significant funds raised but the social life of the Village is enhanced and links are made across the community. Over the last ten years the Friends have raised more than £100,000 for the church.
